Use Whiz from the browser omnibar

Add Whiz as a custom search engine, then use the browser address bar for searches and bangs. Local custom bangs stay in this browser.

  1. Open your browser search engine settings.
  2. Add a new site search named Whiz.
  3. Use a shortcut like whiz or w.
  4. Use the search URL above. OpenSearch discovery is also advertised on this site.
  5. Optional: make Whiz your default search engine to search without typing the shortcut.
